Russian Fleet Receives "Burya" with "Kalibr" Missiles and "Pantsir-M"

Project 22800 MRKs accepted into the Navy in Baltiysk

The small missile ship "Burya" of Project 22800 "Karakurt" has officially joined the Russian Navy. The ship received "Kalibr-NK" cruise missiles, the "Pantsir-M" complex, and modern electronic warfare systems.

The ceremony of raising the St. Andrew's flag took place in Baltiysk. The new ship was transferred to the Baltic Fleet after completing state trials.

Despite their compact size, "Karakurts" are among the most heavily armed ships in their class. The main strike complex is the "Kalibr-NK" missiles, capable of hitting targets at long distances.

For protection against air threats, the ship received the naval version of the "Pantsir-M" complex, which is capable of simultaneously repelling attacks from drones, missiles, and aircraft. The "Burya" is also equipped with modern navigation, communication, and electronic warfare systems.

In 2025, three new warships with "Kalibr-NK" complexes were also accepted into the Russian Navy.
