The naval composition of the Navy (VMF) has been replenished with the patrol ship "Viktor Veliky" of Project 22160, the small missile ship "Stavropol" of Project 21631, and the small missile ship "Typhoon" of Project 22800, the Ministry of Defense reported.
The solemn ceremony under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, via video conference from the Main Admiralty, took place in Baltiysk and Makhachkala.
"Viktor Veliky", "Stavropol", and "Typhoon" were built at the Zelenodolsk Plant named after Gorky. The warships successfully passed sea and state trials.
The development and design of the PC "Viktor Veliky" was carried out by JSC "Severnoye PKB", and the design of the small missile ships "Stavropol" and "Typhoon" was carried out by JSC "Zelenodolskoye PKB" and JSC TsMKB "Almaz", respectively. All ships are equipped with the Kalibr-NK guided missile weapon system.
However, mortars continue to work with optical sights, so aiming and re-aiming are performed manually.
