The new Russian cabin on the import-substituted SJ-100 surpassed the foreign one, which was supplied for the first version of the airliner, in terms of comfort. This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov.
According to him, the installation of cabin elements on one of the aircraft has been completed in Zhukovsky. Engineers installed panels, equipment, air conditioning systems, passenger seats, and more.
It turned out better than the cabin that was supplied to the previous Superjet by foreign companies.
Earlier, "Perviy Tekhnicheskiy" compared the import-substituted SJ-100 with its classmate – the Brazilian Embraer. The Russian aircraft lost on many parameters, including capacity at maximum load.
Aviation expert Roman Gusarov was of the opinion that the "Superjet" is absolutely no worse than foreign competitors, including Embraer.
