Moscow Metro received the 1000th car of the 81-776 series

TMH continues to supply new generation trains for the capital's subway

The Moscow Metro received the 1000th car of the 81-776 series, which became part of the new "Moscow-2026" train. The rolling stock is produced by TMH at its plant in Mytishchi, where cars of this series have been manufactured since 2020.

The anniversary car became part of an eight-car new generation train. The "Moscow" family of trains was produced in three versions: "Moscow-2020", "Moscow-2024", and "Moscow-2026".

Each train for the capital's metro includes two 81-775 series head motor cars, four 81-776 intermediate motor cars, and two 81-777 intermediate non-motor cars. This configuration ensures rapid acceleration and stable operation on the line.

Non-motor cars are equipped with energy storage devices. In case of power failure, the train can autonomously travel more than six kilometers and exit the tunnel without voltage in the contact rail. TMH believes that this solution allows maintaining a balance between power, energy efficiency, and operational safety.

Over the next two years, the plant plans to produce more than 700 more cars of this series for Moscow. New deliveries will allow completing the renewal of the Zamoskvoretskaya line's fleet and preparing rolling stock for the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line.
