Serial deliveries of new diesel engines have begun to the Republic of Belarus. The first batch of engines was shipped by PAO "Tutayevsky Motor Plant" to the production site of OAO "Gomselmash".
Model 8807.10-10 develops a power of 480 kilowatts, which is equivalent to 653 horsepower. These power units will completely replace the units that Belarusian engineers previously purchased in European countries and the United States. The engines are designed specifically for FS650 forage harvesters.
The joint work of the enterprises was launched back in 2019. The project was supported by an agreement between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the administration of the Yaroslavl region. A prototype of the equipment with a domestic engine underwent full field tests from 2022 to 2025. The results confirmed that fuel consumption and dynamic performance correspond to the levels of foreign analogues.
Alexander Shevtsov, Deputy Chief Designer of TMZ, explained that the new engine was designed based on the "Etalon" platform. Engineers focused on increasing the reliability of components and fine-tuning operating modes for agricultural conditions.
