Russia Creates First Drone Control Module with 70 km Range, Resistant to EW

The "Efiron" complex maintains connection even under strong interference

Engineers from "Aerokosmicheskie Antennye Sistemy" company have developed the "Efiron" drone control module, which allows for stable communication even under active electronic warfare suppression. The complex provides control of unmanned aerial vehicles and ground robots at a distance of up to 70 km.

"Efiron" is capable of operating at a signal-to-noise ratio of up to –10 dB. This means that communication is maintained even under strong EW system interference.

The prototype is in the pre-production stage and is ready for pilot testing with customers.

The complex is based on software-defined radio (SDR) technology. The main functions are implemented at the software level, rather than hardware, which allows for quick adaptation of the system to different communication channels and application scenarios.
