Gross profit increased sevenfold in the first quarter of 2026 – such data is contained in the accounting statements under RAS, published by PAO "KAMAZ". The automaker's revenue amounted to 49.5 billion rubles, which almost corresponds to the level of the same period last year. At the same time, gross profit reached 1.4 billion rubles – a significant jump compared to the figures at the beginning of 2025.
The key factor in improving results was the growing popularity of the new K5 truck family. The share of these models in the company's total shipments increased from 9 to 13%. In parallel, the company continues to implement a program to improve the efficiency of production and management processes, which is already yielding measurable financial results.
Net loss for the quarter decreased to 9.2 billion rubles, which is significantly better than a year ago.
The company notes that further improvement in financial performance will depend on the stability of demand for commercial vehicles and the successful scaling of K5 model production.
The K5 model family is the fifth generation of KAMAZ trucks, representing a fundamentally new stage in the company's development. These vehicles are built on a single modular platform, equipped with modern digital control systems, economical engines, and comfortable cabs.
