Not just "Oreshnik": Russia has developed a completely new weapon

Dmitry Medvedev called the samples "very promising"

Along with the "Oreshnik" ballistic system and "Poseidon" unmanned underwater vehicles, Russia has developed other types of weapons. This was announced by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

I am referring not only to the well-known "Oreshnik" or the formidable "Poseidon". There are other samples, very promising, which I will not elaborate on.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation

Russia's nuclear strategic forces triad is maintained in proper condition, Medvedev emphasized.

God forbid, of course, that we witness such events [the use of nuclear weapons], but they cannot be ruled out and we must prepare for them.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation

It is known that "Poseidon" is equipped with a nuclear power plant. The power of the underwater torpedo significantly exceeds the power of Russia's most promising intercontinental ballistic missile - "Sarmat".

"Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" provided a comparison of the "Burevestnik" and "Oreshnik" missiles. In relation to them, the expression "no analogues" can be applied. It is also known that in the case of "Oreshnik", launch facilities will even be deployed outside Russia.
