A former AvtoVAZ engineer, blogger KhaDm, explained why the amount of insider information from AvtoVAZ has sharply decreased – almost all his acquaintances who worked at the enterprise have quit. According to him, the real salaries of engineering and technical workers at VAZ are now 50-60 thousand rubles per month. This, according to the blogger, is what makes people leave production. He also noted that no more than 15% of engineering and technical specialists work at AvtoVAZ for more than five years.
As for new products – as the blogger suggests, the Lada Azimut, which is planned for release in the summer, will only be released in December. The plant did not comment on this information.
The Turbo-Azimut is mercilessly stalling, and it will only be available a year (if lucky) after the atmospheric car. The extended station wagon based on the "Granta" is also moving somehow, but very reluctantly. The Iskra Sport, it seems, is planned, but at very unsportsmanlike rates and will be at best in 2027-2028.
