"M.Video" opens international storefront: goods from China, Hong Kong, and UAE to join the marketplace

The new format will become one of the key development directions for the marketplace

"M.Video" is launching cross-border trade and expanding its marketplace assortment through supplies from distant foreign countries – including China, Hong Kong, and the UAE.

The new format is expected to provide access to a wider selection of international brand products – and, importantly, at more competitive prices. The company's CEO, Vladislav Bakalchuk, notes that the cross-border direction will be one of the key areas for platform development: the assortment will be gradually expanded by connecting new partners and categories.

The first orders have already been tested in cooperation with "Dubai Express". Initially, the company is focusing on electronics – primarily smartphones and devices from global brands such as Apple and Samsung. It is in these segments that buyers are most sensitive to price and the availability of international versions of devices, making the model with overseas deliveries particularly in demand here.

Next up is expansion. Plans include developing fashion, cosmetics, and home goods categories. Gaming consoles, home appliances, and accessories from Sony, Microsoft, and Dyson are already available in the assortment.

According to the company, sellers with a potential assortment of over 20 million product items are preparing to connect, which could significantly increase the marketplace's offering.

Logistics and customs clearance will be handled by specialized cross-border trade operators – this should ensure stable delivery times and maintain the service level at "M.Video" standards.
