A KamAZ subsidiary, the company "Kran tsentr KamAZ," has brought to market a new hook loader on the KamAZ-65951 K5-generation chassis. The vehicle is designed for logistics in municipal services, road construction, and the forestry sector.
The multilift makes it possible to change bodies quickly, thanks to which one vehicle can replace several units of special equipment at once, for example, a garbage truck and a dump truck. This significantly reduces fleet maintenance costs.
The main element of the system is a powerful 1,570 mm hook capable of lifting multi-ton loads. The unit works with removable containers from 5,050 to 7,440 mm long and allows the body to be changed or operation in dump mode. A key advantage of the interchangeable container is that it can be dropped from the chassis and left at the site for filling, without keeping the truck itself idle. The loader's curb weight is 17,800 kg, and the load is distributed optimally: 9,460 kg on the front axles and 8,340 kg on the rear bogie.
The KamAZ-65951 chassis with an 8×4 wheel arrangement combines high payload capacity and stability. The frame length allows the superstructure to be installed correctly, ensuring structural reliability in demanding tasks. The cab meets modern safety requirements: air conditioning with automatic climate control, heated seats, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, and a multimedia system with a 10-inch display.
