The most powerful tow truck in Russia has entered the market. The novelty, capable of lifting and transporting equipment weighing up to 60 tons, was presented by PJSC KAMAZ and the Kuzovostroitel plant.
The novelty is based on the four-axle KAMAZ-65951 chassis of the K5 generation. Engineers chose this platform for its strength margin, modern transmission and adaptability to extreme loads.
The chassis allows the tow truck to confidently work with heavy road trains, mining dump trucks and overloaded trucks that standard vehicles cannot handle.
According to Kirill Bliznyukov, General Director of Kuzovostroitel, there is more and more super-heavy transport on the country's roads, and ordinary tow trucks are simply powerless in the event of a breakdown or accident of such equipment. The answer to this challenge was the development of a machine with a record payload capacity for the domestic market. The tow truck is already available for order and ready to work in any road conditions.
