Unmanned Monster: "Courier" Robot Tows Three-Ton D-30 Howitzer Across Fields and Sands

The platform helps artillerymen in dangerous areas, saving the lives of soldiers

The "Courier" ground robotic complex in the area of the combat line carried out the towing of a 122-mm D-30 howitzer weighing over 3 tons. The use of robotic platforms for delivering ammunition and evacuation allows tasks to be performed in dangerous areas without risk to personnel.

It was previously reported that, in conjunction with a trailer, the "Courier" is capable of transporting up to 400 kilograms of cargo. The standard carrying capacity of the complex is 200 kg, but with a trailer it doubles. According to the military, the robot confidently traverses fields, sands, and small hills.

NRTK "Courier" is a Russian multi-purpose tracked remote control platform. The complex has been developed since 2022 by engineers from Buryatia (Sadaev Group), and then the project was supported by the "People's Front" as part of the "Kulibin Club" initiative. The "Courier" is designed to perform a wide range of tasks: from delivering ammunition and evacuating the wounded to engineering reconnaissance and demining. The platform can be used as a transport vehicle or serve as a base for installing various weapons - from machine guns and grenade launchers to mortars and multiple launch rocket systems.
