MAZ presented a new medium-duty 365 family to dealers — flatbed trucks with a gross weight of 8 and 10 tons. The eight-ton MAZ-365120 costs 3.918 million rubles, the ten-ton one costs 3.994 million. The twelve-ton MAZ-365130 will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2026 at a price of 4.154 million rubles.
The machines are based on the Chinese Weichai Landking platform. The choice of partner is logical, MAZ already has a joint engine production with Weichai. The engines on the assembly line are listed as BMWK ZD4.160E5 — these are the same Weichai, renamed from February 2025 for certification reasons.
Gearboxes are supplied by the Minsk Gear Plant, tires by Belshina, and the frame and glass are also Belarusian. Assembly is carried out according to the CKD cycle, with welding and painting of cabs on site.
Fuel consumption is declared at 10 l/100 km, warranty — 3 years or 200 thousand km, service interval — 20 thousand km. The carrying capacity of the eight-ton truck is 5.15 tons, the ten-ton truck is 6.95 tons.
For comparison: Russian medium-duty GAZon Next and KAMAZ trucks in this niche are still inferior in terms of cabin equipment — MAZ-365 immediately offers ESC, cruise control, a touch multimedia system and seat heating.
