"Cyclops" from the USSR: The futuristic SMZ S-3L motor carriage was restored based on drawings from the 50s

The three-wheeled vehicle with one headlight and a 7.3 hp engine is valued at 8.5 million rubles

The Smirnov Design Bureau has completed the restoration of a unique 1958 SMZ S-3L motor carriage. The vehicle, known among the people as "Cyclops" due to the single headlight in the center of the front of the body, was found in Moscow. Previously, this specimen participated as a model in the magazine series "Autolegends of the USSR" from DeAgostini (number 47). The restorers returned it to its original authentic appearance, based on the drawings of the legendary artist-illustrator Alexander Zakharov from the magazine "Behind the Wheel."
