Russian President Vladimir Putin, congratulating geologists on Geologist's Day, reported that in 2025 alone, 41 oil and gas condensate and 276 solid mineral deposits were discovered.

Putin emphasized that large projects are being successfully implemented in the Arctic and on the continental shelf, and the reproduction of the main types of mineral raw materials is reliably ensured.

317 new objects - these are tons of ore for aircraft alloys and defense industry. Without them, industrial sovereignty would depend on imports.
