The High-Precision Systems holding has delivered a new batch of Krasnopol-M2 guided artillery shells to the Russian military. The ammunition has proven its effectiveness and has hit thousands of targets, including self-propelled artillery units, tanks, IFVs, and other armored vehicles.
Rostec noted that the Krasnopol-M2 is highly effective and exceptionally accurate, even at maximum distances.
At the same time, firing with the Krasnopol-M2 guided projectile can be carried out both from self-propelled howitzers and from towed guns from closed firing positions.
The shells are used in conjunction with the Orlan-30 reconnaissance drone. The probability of hitting a target is 100% with a firing range of up to 20 km, clarified Marat Sultanov, the commander of the Msta-S gun.
The target designator of the Krasnopol complex is capable of capturing up to three targets simultaneously.
