Solaris car production at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg has been halted since December, but dealers still have many 2025 models available, according to auto blogger Maxim Kadakov. These are cars manufactured in Russia.
According to him, all three models are available in Moscow dealerships: the KRS sedan (formerly Hyundai Solaris), the KRX hatchback (Hyundai i30), and the HC crossover (Hyundai Creta). Prices range from 2.7 to 3.4 million rubles. The most affordable is the KRS (from 2.7 million rubles), the KRX is priced at a minimum of 2.9 million, and the all-wheel-drive two-liter HC is already at 3.4 million rubles.
To make the cars sell more actively, they increased the trade-in discount and continue to subsidize the rate for those who purchase cars on credit.
