Over the past two years, the AGR plant in St. Petersburg has produced more than 60 thousand Russian Solaris cars. According to some estimates, the company had up to 70 thousand kits for four modifications of cars of this brand, but they are already running out.
From January to October of this year, about 42 thousand new Solaris cars were registered in Russia. This creates confidence in maintaining the level of sales in the first quarter of 2026.
The main part of the products (more than 45 thousand cars) will consist of Solaris and a small batch of Jaecoo crossovers. Production at AGR will be twice as high as last year's output.
Hyundai's option to buy back St. Petersburg's facilities expires in December. This may affect the future of Solaris production and the AGR plant's strategy for next year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian "clones" of Creta are still equipped with Hyundai-branded steering wheels.
