Hypersonic "Zircon" carrier "Admiral Golovko" practiced artillery firing in the Barents Sea

Project 22350 ship hit a target at a distance of 10 kilometers

The multipurpose frigate "Admiral Golovko" of Project 22350 conducted a complex of artillery exercises in the Barents Sea. The ship hit coastal targets at a distance of about 10 kilometers as part of the K-2 course task, which involves practicing the actions of a single ship for its intended purpose.

At the initial stage, the crew used electronic warfare systems to set up passive interference and false targets. Then, a series of shots were fired from the A-192 artillery system at ground targets. In parallel, the sailors practiced countering robotic systems: the "Palash" anti-aircraft artillery system destroyed a small-sized aerial target approaching the ship.

Frigate of Project 22350 is a universal platform capable of fighting surface, air, and underwater targets, as well as striking ground targets at a range of over a thousand kilometers.
