Mass production of cars of the revived Volga brand has been launched in Nizhny Novgorod. The first car has already been sent to the conveyor, the company has completed the preparation of infrastructure and equipment.
Sales will start in the third quarter of 2026 through the official dealer network. Recall that the project is being implemented by the company JSC "Production of passenger cars". The plant is designed to produce up to 110 thousand cars per year.
The lineup will cover three segments — D-SUV, C-SUV and D-sedans. The first to enter the market will be the Volga K50 — a crossover announced on March 19. The start of sales of the model is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
K50 will receive a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 238 hp, an all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The length of the crossover is 4770 mm, the wheelbase is 2845 mm. An adaptive suspension was used in the design. The winter options package is included in the basic configuration.
