February 2026 became a record month for the MS-21-310 program in terms of the intensity of certification flights. This was reported by the analytical blog "Letaem vmeste".
The progress level of certification stands at 75% (+5% for the month). In total, the aircraft logged 112 hours; such figures had not been seen in any previous reporting period.
Aircraft No. 73055 completed a record-long flight on February 4. From February 16 to 20, the airliner was on a business trip to Syktyvkar, where its performance was tested away from base and in high latitudes.
Aircraft No. 73057 did not fly in January, but after the installation of a Russian passenger cabin interior, it has been flying regularly. It completed 9 flights, just as it did in November and December of last year.
Rostec head Sergei Chemezov announced clear deadlines — certification of the MS-21 is intended to be completed by the end of 2026.
