Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian military had received a new batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles with enhanced protection and modern EW systems. The designers reinforced the underbody protection against blasts and increased the anti-fragmentation resistance of the armor in the front and rear sections. The upgrades are aimed at improving the effectiveness and protection of the equipment in combat conditions.
