The Perm-based Synergiya plant modernized its production site where pumping units are assembled. Total output increased by 25%, to 500 units per year, according to the press service of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF).
The enterprise manufactures plunger pumps and pumping units for the oil and gas sector. Investments in the project amounted to 180 million rubles in the form of a concessional loan from the IDF.
Our products surpass many foreign counterparts in engineering ingenuity; we are ahead of our competitors.
About Synergiya's products
Plunger, or reciprocating positive-displacement, pumps are used to transfer liquid under high pressure. Such equipment is ordered by Russia's largest oil and gas companies, including Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, and Tatneft. Synergiya also supplies pumps for export — to Iraq, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.
At present, Russia purchases about 30% of its pumping equipment from other countries. After the capacity increase at the Perm plant, this figure will decrease to 23%.
