The Lipetsk group of companies "Rish Development" has applied to the Arbitration Court of the Novosibirsk Region with a lawsuit to declare the Novosibirsk Electric Locomotive Repair Plant (NEVZ) insolvent. The reason was the non-payment of debt in 14.7 million rubles.
The date of the first meeting on the case has not yet been set. Since the beginning of 2026, "Rish Development" has filed more than ten applications to the arbitration court against NEVZ due to debts under equipment and service supply contracts.
Representatives of "Sinara — Transport Machines" explained that the claims are related to a legally justified determination of the cost of work, and the issue of bankruptcy "is not on the agenda."
NEVZ was registered in 2017 on the basis of the former diesel locomotive repair enterprise, the plant specializes in the repair of freight electric locomotives of models 2ES6 "Sinara" and 2ES10 "Granit".
Since 2017, the company has been part of the "Sinara — Transport Machines" group, which is included in the federal list of systemically important organizations of the Russian economy.
NEVZ is the flagship of Western Siberia for the repair of electric locomotives. Without its work, it is impossible to ensure the serviceability of the locomotive fleet in key sections of the Trans-Siberian Railway.
