The fuel market in the Novosibirsk region is under serious threat. The local Kochenevsky refinery may enter bankruptcy proceedings.

The parent company, "VPK-Oil," has notified its intention to apply to the arbitration court with a request to declare the company insolvent, according to a message on the "Fedresurs" portal.

According to the "Kontur.Focus" service, the founder of "VPK-Oil" is the Holding Company "Evolution". The authorized capital of the enterprise is 273.5 million rubles.

With revenue exceeding 33 billion rubles in 2024, the company incurred a net loss of 1.6 billion rubles.

Currently, there are 13 lawsuits against the company in the courts for a total amount of about 338 million rubles. The possible bankruptcy may affect the oil refining market in the region.

Kochenevsky Refinery is the only oil refinery in the Novosibirsk region, it started operating in 2007. The company processes about 720 thousand tons of oil per year and produces gas gasoline, fuel oil, petroleum tar, and bitumen.
