I ask the airlines to prepare a schedule with the number of export flights until March 7, we will promptly contact the aviation authorities of the states to coordinate flights and speed up the processes.
Vladimir Poteshkin, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport of Russia

Poteshkin said that calls to airline call centers should be free. Passengers need to be informed about changes in a timely manner, he added.

In total, about 4,500 passengers will be taken to Russia on Tuesday. As of 12:00, 520 people have already returned to the country. In addition to Moscow, flights are operated to Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. The day before, planes arrived in Moscow from Abu Dhabi and Muscat, which transported 484 passengers.

The situation in the Middle East escalated in late February. The United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, which caused the Islamic Republic, as well as a number of neighboring states, to close the sky. This caused disruptions in the schedule of Russian and international companies.
