PAO "Tupolev" has announced a tender for the construction of a new radio engineering measurements building in Kazan. Investment in the project will amount to 1.6 billion rubles, according to documents on the RosTender.info portal.
The facility will strengthen the scientific and technical potential of the Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ) and ensure higher quality of manufactured products.
The new center will make it possible to test radio engineering equipment, which is critically important for the development of modern aviation and defense technology.
Construction of the building at KAZ is part of the company's long-term strategy to develop advanced technologies and modernize production capacities.
Applications from potential contractors are being accepted until March 17. The winner of the tender will carry out the full range of construction work. The project must be completed by March 30, 2027.
Recall that "Tupolev" is the manufacturer of Tu-160 "White Swan" strategic missile carriers. Independent expert Aleksei Zakharov stated that the state will not allow the corporation to go bankrupt, despite financial problems after a lawsuit.
