Restoration of the backup external power supply line of the ZNPP "Ferrosplavnaya-1" will take at least a week — the amount of work is "quite large" compared to previous repairs, Yevgenia Yashina, Communications Director of the station, told TASS.

The 330 kV line was disconnected on February 10 as a result of fire impact on facilities in the area of the nuclear power plant. The main power supply to the station is now provided by the 750 kV Dneprovskaya line.

On February 27, a local ceasefire regime was introduced in the area of the ZNPP to carry out repairs, as reported by Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev. The agreements were reached with the participation of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi with the support of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

This is the fifth agreement on a temporary local ceasefire in the area of the station, reached through the mediation of the IAEA. For the first time, the silence regime was introduced in the fall of 2025 — after the nuclear power plant remained without external power supply for almost a month.
