In Bryansk, preparation is underway for the production of an unusual vehicle — the BNM Model 4x4 from the company "BN-motors," reports the Telegram channel "Avtopotok." The vehicle is built on Niva components, but it is intended not for public roads, but for off-road use: hiking trips, hunting, fishing, or transporting repair crews to hard-to-reach places.
The design turned out distinctive, but utilitarian — this was the result of cost-cutting. With new components, the vehicle will cost approximately 1.3 million rubles. If a used engine, gearbox, and axles with suspensions are used, the price may drop to one million.
Production will be small-batch. The start is scheduled for the summer of 2026 — after the completion of certification under TR TS 010, which will not give owners the right to drive onto regular roads. So this is an off-road vehicle for closed territories.
