RKhM-10 was created on the basis of the Soviet BTR-80 armored personnel carrier with an 8x8 wheel arrangement. The special vehicle was developed and is produced by OAO "Zavod Tula".

The vehicle is intended for conducting radiation, chemical, and biological reconnaissance, as well as transmitting the data obtained to an automated troop command and control system.

The previous version of the chemical reconnaissance vehicle — RKhM-8 — entered service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2021. It was developed on the basis of the "Tigr" armored vehicle

Also presented at the forum in Khabarovsk are the T-80BVM tank, the Uran-6 robotic demining system, and the Erofey army buggies. The exhibition will remain open through February 24 inclusive.
