BelAZ has expanded its range of special equipment and presented a new BELAZ-78242 front loader. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
This is not just a machine, but a complete solution for complex work in tandem with mining dump trucks.
The model's payload capacity is 11.5 tons with a bucket volume of 6.5 m³. BELAZ-78242 can be used for unloading dump trucks up to 60 tons and railway cars.
Under the hood of the loader is a powerful 16-liter engine with a capacity of 606 hp, working in tandem with a hydromechanical transmission of its own production BelAZ (4+4 gears). To improve the stability of the model, the folding angle of the half-frames was increased to 40°.
For comfortable machine control, two multifunctional joysticks are provided. BELAZ-78242 features a spacious cabin with a panoramic view.
