BelAZ has started testing the 7513V dump truck at the factory test site. This was reported in the manufacturer's press service.
The new product is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell. The car does not pollute the environment with harmful emissions. In the process of operation of the dump truck, only condensed water and steam are produced.
The 7513V dump truck is designed for operation in quarrying and mining conditions. The "hydrogen" BelAZ will be 2 times more economical than the "classic" model.
Technical characteristics of the 7513V dump truck:
- Payload capacity - 130 tons.
- Hydrogen fuel cell block - 440 kW.
- Battery capacity - 904 kW·h.
- Hydrogen consumption - 15-30 kg per hour.
