The "Technosfera" Scientific and Production Center for the development of unmanned aerial systems will appear in the Krasnodar Territory by the end of 2026. The site will bring together local UAV manufacturers to establish serial assembly of products, said Dmitry Khmelko, head of the regional Ministry of Industrial Policy.
In the Krasnodar Territory, there are about 9 leading manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles that offer solutions for various industries.
According to Khmelko, Kuban developers have high competencies in engine localization — up to 95%. The creation of the SPC "Technosfera" will be an important step in the development of radio electronics, he stressed.
The region produces UAVs for military and civilian purposes, including for the agricultural sector. The SPC will become a pilot production site for the production of small and large batches of drones.
Support for UAV Manufacturers
The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory offer various support measures for manufacturers of drones and components for them. In particular, companies can receive compensation of up to 95% of the costs of developing engineering and technical centers based on production facilities. In addition, funding is provided for up to 30% of the costs of creating or developing import-substituting enterprises, as well as the issuance of preferential loans from the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) of the Krasnodar Territory.
