A universal tanker with special liquids (ZSZhU) for the Russian military aviation will be produced on the Ural-43206 chassis. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
A representative of the Department of Resource Support of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Demirov, said that the department faces the urgent task of updating the fleet of aviation technical means of the fuel service.
The main feature of the ZSZhU is its multifunctionality. With its help, it is possible to refuel aircraft with aviation oils and oil mixtures, alcohol and water-alcohol mixtures, as well as hydraulic fluids.
An experienced prototype of the tanker was built according to the "five in one" scheme. It will replace 3 types of obsolete Soviet special vehicles. State tests of the ZSZhU are planned to be completed in 2026.
Ural-4320 is a heavy-duty cross-country truck that has been produced at UAZ in Miass since 1977. The cars of the series are equipped with YaMZ diesel engines with a capacity of up to 300 hp.
