Carries high-precision guided missiles: the Forpost-RE drone from UZGA to be showcased in Saudi Arabia

Ural engineers have expanded the combat capabilities of the reconnaissance-strike system

The export version of the Forpost-RE reconnaissance-strike drone will be presented for the first time at the World Defense Show 2026 defence exhibition, which will take place in Saudi Arabia from February 8 to 12. This was reported by the press service of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).

The strike version of the Forpost-RE carries high-precision guided missiles and glide bombs. With their help, the drone operator can engage stationary and moving targets.

If necessary, the developers will adapt the export Forpost RE system to the specific needs of foreign customers.

Specifications of the Forpost-RE reconnaissance-strike drone:

  • Combat payload — up to 40 kg
  • Automatic takeoff and landing system
  • Equipped with a radar or a signal repeater
  • Operation at temperatures from -40°C to +50°C

Currently, Ural engineers are expanding the combat capabilities of the drone. In particular, payloads are being developed that can be used outside the engagement zone of medium- and long-range air defence systems.
