The Haval Jolion crossover, which is produced near Tula, will be updated. The vehicle will be fitted with a new 1.5-liter engine. Information about this is provided in the document "Vehicle Type Approval," which mentions the GW4B15L engine.
It complies with the Euro 6 environmental standard. The new unit has torque of 270 Nm and a compression ratio of 11.0:1. The engine currently installed in the crossover has torque of 230 Nm and a compression ratio of 11.8:1. Both engines use AI-92 gasoline.
At the moment, the Jolion is produced at the Haval plant in the Tula Region and is available in two versions. The first is with front-wheel drive and an engine producing 143 horsepower, paired with a manual transmission or a seven-speed robotic transmission. The second version is all-wheel drive, equipped with the same engine but producing 150 horsepower, working exclusively with the robotic transmission.
As of early February, the price of the model ranges from 1,999,000 to 2,899,000 rubles. In January, more than 4.3 thousand new Joliion units were sold.
