The Russian plant BalakovoRezinoTekhnika has received new orders from Haval's Tula plant for the supply of rubber technical products for the F7 and Jolion crossovers as part of the component localization program, the company's press service reported. Deliveries will begin in 2026.
The localization program allows Haval to gradually increase the share of domestically produced components in manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports. For BalakovoRezinoTekhnika, the new contracts mean expanded production and stronger positions in the auto components market, the company noted.
The Haval plant in the Tula Region is the largest overseas manufacturing facility of Great Wall Motor with a full cycle: stamping, welding, and painting. The site produces the Jolion, F7, Dargo, and the new H7 models, and since 2024 the plant has been equipped with its own engine workshop. Total output exceeds 375,000 vehicles per year, making the Tula site a key player in the local automotive sector.
The crossovers for which the rubber technical products will be supplied are equipped with gasoline turbo engines and modern multimedia systems. The F7 is a midsize SUV with all-wheel drive and electronic driver assistance systems, while the Jolion is a compact urban crossover with front-wheel drive and an economical engine.
Increasing the localization of Haval components strengthens the Russian auto components market and reduces manufacturers' vulnerability to global supply chains, creating new opportunities for domestic rubber technical product plants.
