The company "RESHETNYOV" (part of Roscosmos) has put into operation three new coordinate boring machines from a Russian manufacturer. The equipment is used at the final stages of part processing, where quality and precision are critically important.
The new machines have already been used in the production of housing elements for executive automation devices, elements of antenna-feeder devices, and products for tool manufacturing.
Production modernization is a step toward ensuring the high quality of satellite products and the technological independence of the domestic space industry.
JSC "Reshetnyov" is a key manufacturer of spacecraft for the GLONASS navigation system and the "Luch" relay system.
The enterprise also develops spacecraft as part of the implementation of the "Sfera" project — "Skif," "Express-RV," "Marafon IoT," and also carries out modernization of the low-orbit communications system.
