The Investigative Committee has completed the investigation into embezzlement committed during the execution of the state defense order at the "Tenth Bearing Plant" (GPZ-10). This was reported by the agency's press service.
According to the investigation, in 2020–2024 the enterprise entered into contracts for the supply of bearing products for the defense industry.
The defendants inflated the cost of the products and entered false information into the documentation. This made it possible to formalize fictitious supply volumes and receive inflated funding.
As a result of the scheme, the defendants stole more than 2.2 billion rubles. Damage was caused to the state and 16 industrial sector enterprises.
The court placed the defendants' property worth more than 5 billion rubles under arrest. The case materials were transferred to the court, and the proceedings will take place in two instances.
