The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan upheld the claim of the Kaluga company Tayfun against the A. G. Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant. The plant will be required to pay more than 20.7 million rubles in debt and about 130 thousand rubles in reimbursement of legal costs.
The conflict between the parties arose from a contract agreement dated July 29, 2021. According to the case materials, the Kaluga plaintiff plant performed a package of work for the Zelenodolsk defendant, including supervisory installation, commissioning, mooring trials, sea trials, and state trials. The customer accepted all the work back at the end of 2023.
Despite partial advance payments, the Zelenodolsk side did not make the final settlement in the amount of 20,770,198.83 rubles.
Tayfun manufactures radar, radio navigation equipment, and radio remote control equipment.
The Zelenodolsk Plant is part of the Ak Bars corporation. The company's best-known products are Project 21631 Buyan-M small missile ships with Kalibr-NK cruise missiles, as well as Project 22800 Karakurt missile ships with precision-guided weapons.
