Rostekhnadzor inspected the key equipment of Unit 1 at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). This was reported by the plant's press service.
The event took place with the participation of international experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency, underscoring openness and commitment to the highest safety standards.
Specialists inspected the operation of the pressure compensator, hydrogen recombiners, and the plant's steam generators. No deficiencies were identified in the operation of the equipment; it is functioning in accordance with the established requirements.
No deficiencies affecting the safe operation of the power unit were identified.
The radiation situation at the ZNPP site was also within normal limits.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the 2026 repair campaign had started at the Zaporizhzhia NPP under IAEA supervision.
