At the Rosatom Wind Blades plant in the Ulyanovsk region, the anniversary — 350th — composite blade for wind generators was produced. The product will be sent to the construction of the Novolaksky wind farm in Dagestan, which will become the largest in Russia in terms of installed capacity.
The production site was launched exactly one year ago on the basis of a former foreign enterprise. As the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russkikh emphasized, the launch of the plant was an important step towards strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country in the field of renewable energy.
Sergey Fedchenko, General Director of Rosatom Wind Blades, noted that the release of the 350th blade indicates the achievement of technological maturity of the new production. According to him, the company not only developed a competitive product from scratch, but also successfully confirmed its reliability in real operating conditions — from Russian wind farms in Dagestan to the first export project in Kyrgyzstan.
