It became known how much Russians saved when buying cars under the preferential state program

From January to December 2025, more than 190 thousand domestically produced cars were sold under preferential car loan and leasing programs. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

In 2026, the government allocated almost 20 billion rubles for the preferential car loan program, and 30 billion rubles for leasing. This support measure applies exclusively to new Russian-made cars, including Lada, UAZ and GAZ models.

At the same time, the cost of a car with an internal combustion engine should not exceed 2 million rubles, and the level of localization should be at least 2500 points. Electric vehicles assembled in Russia are also available for purchase under the state program.
