The Ministry of Labor is working on a bill that will allow the use of the national messenger Max for electronic document management between employees and employers. This was reported by the press service of the department.
As clarified in the ministry, it is about the possibility, and not the obligation, to use Max for interaction. The service can be used, for example, to request certificates and documents from the employer, coordinate vacation schedules, and send vacation requests.
At the same time, the current methods of document exchange, enshrined in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, are preserved. If the employer maintains electronic personnel document management, the exchange of documents remains possible through its own information system or the digital platform "Work in Russia", including integration with "Gosuslugi".
