The second stage of the auction for the sale of Moscow's Domodedovo Airport will take place this week and will end on January 25. This is reported by Vedomosti, citing its source. According to them, the auction will be held in the form of a Dutch auction, the price on it will decrease until the first application by the contender.
Mikhail Vasilenko, General Director of Sheremetyevo Airport, previously announced his interest in participating in the re-auction if it is held according to the Dutch model. He stressed that this project requires significant investments.
The initial auction, scheduled for January 20, 2026, was declared invalid, as only one application from individual entrepreneur Evgeny Bogaty was not allowed to trade due to the lack of necessary documents.
The price for the asset was set at 132.3 billion rubles, with a deposit of 26.45 billion rubles. However, Bogaty noted that this is too high an amount, given the company's debts.
