Domodedovo Airport served practically 13.9 million people in 2025, which is 11% less compared with 2024. This was stated in 2026 by the air hub's CEO Andrei Ivanov.
This is the result that was planned at the end of the year.
Speaking about the future, Ivanov said that the plans for 2026 are more ambitious. A preliminary agreement has been reached with Sibir (S7) airline to expand flights and open new destinations within Russia.
We very much hope that a number of foreign airlines will place their trust in our airport. We believe that this year will be better in terms of passenger traffic, cargo traffic, and financial results.
Domodedovo's largest air carriers remain S7 and Ural Airlines. Both carriers are facing difficulties servicing Airbus A320neo aircraft, which also affected their passenger traffic.
