Fraud of 14 million rubles uncovered in the production of Be-200 amphibians

A supply of substandard materials from contractors was discovered at the production of the Taganrog Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev. The Taganrog City Court sentenced the perpetrators to terms of 2.5 to 4 years of imprisonment, according to the FSB Directorate for the Rostov Region.

The investigation established that the aircraft plant had entered into a contract with «МАКСПРО» company for the supply of lumber for a total amount of more than 14 million rubles. The director of the organization, Александра Багурова, organized the supply of materials through entrepreneur Евгений Когут.

The examination established that the supplied lumber did not meet the requirements of regulatory legal acts, including GOST. The court ruled that the materials could not be used for aircraft parts, which could lead to disruption of state defense order deadlines.

Багуровой was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment, Когуту — 4 years of imprisonment. By court decision, both businessmen were prohibited from engaging in activities in the field of state and municipal contracts for three years.

As a reminder, ТАНТК им. Бериева is part of the United Aircraft Corporation, the enterprise produces Be-200 amphibious aircraft, which will receive ПД-8 engines in the future.

For the first six months of 2025, the company recorded a net loss of 1.778 billion rubles against a profit of 166 million rubles in the first half of 2024.
