Engineering company "Toptech" announced the start of production of fully Russian equipment for ammonia synthesis. It will act as a contractor, replacing the ammonia synthesis column packing for the AM-70 unit at the "Kemerovo Azot" plant. The packing includes gas distribution and mixing systems, as well as heat exchange equipment.
Toptech's responsibilities will include the design of internal structures, the production and supply of equipment, the catalyst, as well as the supervision of the installation of the packing, the loading and regeneration of the catalyst, along with its commissioning and bringing it to a stable operating mode.
All components of the equipment will be made entirely of domestic materials, including inflow-outflow and inter-shelf heat exchangers, which will be manufactured on the basis of the engineering and design center of KAO "Azot" with the support of "Toptech".
The company's CEO, Alexey Polyakov, said that the development of a technical project for new internal devices has been completed. Currently, the preparation of working design documentation is underway, after which the production of the necessary equipment will begin.
