The Moscow "SberTroika" ticket system for ground transport has started operating in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. The region became the 34th to join the seamless transport network.
According to surveys by the authorities, 87% of Krasnoyarsk residents already use cashless payments with a card: the daily number of transactions reaches 420,000. The ability to check the remaining trips on a transport or social card and replenish the balance without commission is available through a mobile application or ATMs.
This is an important step for the development of the region's transport system and improving the quality of passenger service. It will allow connecting new services for passengers, digital services, partner promotions and travel discounts.
The experiment on integrating the transport systems of various regions into "Troika" started in 2020 with the Tula region. Later, the Tomsk region, the Altai Republic, Tuva, Perm, Stavropol, Khabarovsk Territories and others joined the project.
Cards purchased in Stavropol or Kyzyl will now work in Moscow and other cities where the "Troika" system operates. It also provides residents of a number of regions with the opportunity to save on travel thanks to more favorable tariffs.
